NUDE MAKEUP TIPS

These are some expert tips for fresh, flawless makeup that look, well, like you´re not wearing makeup. You´ll look just like you do but even better!! It´s fresh and simple, you´ll look pretty because you´re simply boosting your natural beauty and what´s even better, it´ll never look as if you tried too hard.

(It´ll be our little secret)

Valentino Couture Fall 2013

1.      Clean your face skin of any previous makeup
Start cleaning your face with a specific face soap, it can be liquid or solid, like Savon Naturel VIÑALI, it cleans your skin leaving it clean and soft. Don´t ever use hand soap because its surfractants are too aggressive for skin.

2.      Tonify your skin
Use a small amount of tonifying lotion in a cotton pad, apply it in circular motion, it´ll help removing the remaining makeup or dirt and prepares the skin for the application of your treatments.

3.      Moisturize
Apply your moisturizing lotion using a small dab the size of a pea, a nice option is VIÑALI´s Soin Visage, it contains grape water instead of water, red grape extract and jojoba oil that provides this fantastic product with 10 % more antioxidant effect. Moisturizing gives you the freshness you need and prepares it for foundation.

4. Even out your skin tone
Take your finger or a sponge dab in the foundation, and dab it on your face, blending it until it looks like your skin tone. Be sure to go underneath your jaw line; if you stop at the edge of your face, there will be a clear line where the foundation ends, making it look like you’re wearing a mask.

5.      Primer for your eyes
This step is absolutely optional, if it´s correctly applied, your shadows will stay longer, apply a small amount of product in all the eye lid including the brow bone.

6.      Conceal any flaws
Use a concealer brush or your fingertips (the former is more sanitary) to dab concealer under your eyes. Start from the inside corner at the bridge of your nose and go to the opposite corner at your outer lash line. Blend the concealer in around the edges, so that there is not an obvious change in tone between your skin and the concealer.
Never rub the concealer in around your eyes, as the skin here is damaged very easily. Simply pat or dab the concealer with the tips of your finger or brush in order to blend it.
Work the concealer up on the inside of your nose if your eyes are deep-set. This area is often neglected by concealer application, and will leave you still looking sleepy.
IMAGE
Be sure to apply your concealer all the way to the very base of your lash line, directly under your waterline.

7.  Consider using eyeshadow shade
This is the step that will identify your make up as nude, you may need 3 matt tones of shade.

8.       Apply blush
Creme blush generally works better than powder because it gives you a dewy look and lasts longer. Using a champagne-tinted creme blush, rub a little on your ring finger and blend onto your cheekbones, Use bronzer, instead of blush, on cheeks, top of nose, and forehead. A sun-kissed glow is more natural than a pink one.

9.      Apply sheer nude lip color
Avoid using chalky lipsticks or shiny lip glosses, there´s a wide range of products you can use, try them to stay close to your natural lip color.

VIÑALI TIPS:
·         Try to go for a similar color with blush and lipstick. It will bring out your natural features.
·         Relax. Constantly checking a mirror, and fussing over your face can ruin a day. Smile, and have lots of confidence.
·         Don't over do the makeup! Remember that makeup is meant to enhance your natural features, not to cover them up.
·         Using natural makeup is healthier for your skin and can reduce blemishes. In fact, mineral foundation doesn't clog your pores and is actually good for your skin, so you may want to invest in a good brand.
·         Apply makeup in the light you will be in; for example, apply your makeup with a lot of light if you are going out on a sunny day, or if you are going clubbing use dimmer lights.
·         Get a trusted friend to tell you if you've gone overboard with the make-up

SKIN EXFOLIATION/SCRUB: Benefits and easy Guide.

Benefits:
The scrub process is based on the mechanic elimination of the oldest dead skin cells on the skin's outermost surface.
The removal of the outer layers leaves it smoother, causing three effects:

-Soft instant touch: Skin is immediately softened, with no irregularities in its surface.
-Brightness: the light falls on the face perpendicular to a surface without irregularities, in this way, the light reflection is specular and the optical effect is brightness in your skin.

-Better absorption of subsequent treatments: The absence of impurities allows subsequent treatments penetrate more deeply so that its effect is greater, you´ll get plus toning, moisturizing, more anti-wrinkle effect etc.

Easy guide:

1 Use a specific facial scrub, exfoliating particles are smaller, suitable for facial skin as grapeseed pips included in the exfoliating soap Vinali "Savon Exfoliant". Body scrubs particles have a larger diameter and are usually rougher to smooth the hardest parts like heels and elbows.

2 Depending on the type of skin the frequency of application will be different, for dry or sensitive skin you want to use the product once a week and if the skin is combination or oily, the product can be applied 2 to 3 times a week.

3 It should be applied on clean skin, not having product remains as a tonic, cream or makeup. Avoid application in sensitive areas such as eye contour or breasts and wounds or irritated skin, if you have sensitive skin ask a doctor before scrubbing.

4 If you perform the peel after a shower it will be more effective because hot water opens the pores, which helps removing impurities.

5 Proceed to apply the cream or gel scrub using your fingertips with a gentle circular massage insisting on problem areas like nose, forehead and chin.

6 Apply subsequent treatments immediately after exfoliation such as tonifying lotion and moisturizer, because your skin is prepared to better infuse of active ingredients.

Groupe GM Partners with VIÑALI to Offer its First Line of Organic Vino-Cosmetic Amenities

Paris, 15th October 2014 – Groupe GM, European leader in hotel amenity products, has joined forces with Spanish brand VIÑALI, the first organic vino-cosmetic company, to launch a line of hospitality products based on anti-oxidant grape extracts.

The products in the VIÑALI amenities range are enriched with organic grape water and organic grape extracts and will give hotel guests an experience as refreshing (and detoxifying) as it is luxurious.

Across the product line, water has been substituted by organic grape water rich in resveratrol, VIÑALI’s flagship ingredient, which carries (adds value to skincare thanks to the grape’s) detoxifying properties. The 100% ecological grape water extract also contains essential oils, minerals and trace elements found in the plant which actively promote healthy skin and are environmentally friendly.

“Having seen the popularity of our cosmetics line grow, we felt that now was the perfect time to create an amenities line in partnership with an international distributor,” commented Marie-Sixtine de Coral, creator of VIÑALI. “This is Spain’s first line of Vino-Cosmetics and we believe that with the international network offered by Groupe GM, it has the potential to become just as popular outside of Spain as it is here.”

Laurent Marchand, President of Groupe GM, added: “We had been looking to offer our hotel clients a vino-cosmetic line for a long time, and our partnership with VIÑALI will allow us to carry out this project that is so dear to us.  As an amenities line that offers guests something above and beyond the traditional ingredients, Viñali was the natural choice to complement our existing product range. The products use powerful, natural, organic ingredients and look very sleek and stylish and we’re confident that our international clients will be equally enthusiastic to see this new brand in our portfolio”.

The new Groupe GM amenity line includes natural soap in 15g and 30g, as well as 25ml tubes of shower gel, shampoo, hair & body gel and body lotion. All are presented in fresh white packaging featuring a grey minimalistic grape leaf design and a red logo. The packaging design also features the BIO VINES logo, certifying the origins of the grape-based ingredients. All vines used to extract grape water, as well as red vine extracts, are organic, harvested in a natural and bio-dynamic way and are completely chemical-free.
